Next Up: Lone Star
January 10, 2014
I wanted to tell you all about the next novel I’m writing, a book I’m very excited about, called Lone Star. When I was a young girl growing up in Russia, I saw a movie called “Ballad of a Soldier.” I remember very little about it, except there was a girl, and a boy who was going to the front. They were on a train together. Then he hopped off. He sang for her and played his guitar. She loved him. Lone Star is the Paullina version of that general theme, except in book form and with all the things I love in it, and I fervently hope the things many of you will love in it. Hint hint, wink wink. I say no more. I’ve said too much.
I am so excited!!!!! I love all of your books!
If only based on my undying affection for the Bronze Horseman trilogy, I love it already! I can’t wait to read it.
And this will be available when?!
Exciting!

Will ‘they’ be going to the front, in this story? If not, is it about Gjorgi and Irina Metanov???
It’s impossible for me to enjoy other any other books!
THANK YOU!
I retract my previous e mail- ITS ANTHONY!
I have just finished reading Bellagrand and am now at a loss, as I feel every time I finish any book from The Bronze Horseman series. I have read The Summer Garden twice and will now go back to read The Bronze Horseman again. I love this series and want to reread it constantly so that I don’t miss a beat, it makes me cry, laugh, be embarrassed to read ( in case my parents can read my mind in the sensual parts! Even tho I’m 40 yrs old! ) an amazing writer, hats off to you Paullina you have captivated my heart with your stories. I am from New Zealand but my wonderful Nanna immigrated here from Finland, so it is lovely to hear Helsinki mentioned in the books. Thank you soo much for your books.
Looking forward to it (impatiently!) already! With ‘all the things I will love in it?’……my mind is racing! I know what I love (Alexander and Tatiana) and I am sure there is some missing history there somewhere you could revisit!
